Specialties: EMDR, Trauma, Anxiety Management

Shannon Kalberg founded Westside Therapy Collective to create a welcoming and emotionally grounded therapy practice where clients can feel genuinely supported while working through anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, and personal growth. With more than 15 years of experience working with children, teens, adults, couples, and families, Shannon brings a compassionate and insight-driven approach focused on helping clients better understand themselves and create meaningful, lasting change.

Her work blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, psychosomatic approaches, EMDR, and trauma-informed care to support both present-day coping and deeper emotional healing. Shannon believes therapy should feel collaborative, approachable, and rooted in authentic human connection. She works closely with clients to help reduce shame, strengthen self-trust, and develop healthier patterns in relationships and everyday life.

In addition to her clinical work, Shannon serves as an adjunct professor at Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology. She is bilingual in Spanish and remains deeply committed to supporting the Los Angeles community through compassionate and evidence-based care.
